TATIA BAKURADZE

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Tatia Bakuradze (b.1985) is a visual artist from Georgia, based in Vienna, Austria. She studied art and architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tbilisi, as well as multimedia design (2004-2011). After graduation she started out working with painting, sculpture and installation and began to work exclusively as an independent artist. Since 2015 artist left her homeland and went to Austria, where she established her own Art Studio in Vienna. Her works have been shown in the solo and group exhibition at various galleries and exhibition halls worldwide, and has collected by diverse collections locally and internationally.

Ending in 2019 she founded a creative studio and international cultural space in Georgia, which serves as a cultural hub for international and local artists, writers, filmmakers, architects and etc., at the cross-road between the East and the West.

Artist lives and works in Vienna.
